"It’s almost like Brock Lesnar in a sense" - Booker T makes a massive claim about popular WWE Superstar

Brock Lesnar is among the most dominant stars in WWE history. Wrestling legend Booker T recently stated that he believes a popular RAW star is similar to The Beast Incarnate in some sense.

Speaking on the most recent edition of his Hall of Fame podcast, the current NXT commentator opened up to share his take on the upcoming match between John Cena and Gunther. The Never Seen 17 is all set to wrestle his last match this weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Booker T opined that facing The Ring General would be a massive challenge for The Cenation Leader. The veteran hailed Gunther for his ability to make it all very realistic, just like Brock Lesnar.

"I think it's the ultimate test for John Cena to go out there and take on the guy that's really staking his claim to what's going on in today's wrestling, and that's Gunther. Nobody goes out and does it like that guy. He makes it so real, so intense, so right there in your face. There's no air in between what Gunther does, as far as the camera and watching. It's as real as it possibly can be. It's almost like Brock Lesnar in a sense," he said. [H/T: WrestleTalk]

John Cena opened up about his controversial defeat to Brock Lesnar

John Cena wrestled Brock Lesnar in a singles match earlier this year at WWE Wrestlepalooza. The former UFC Heavyweight Champion put forth a dominant performance to secure a comfortable win over the record 17-time WWE world champion.

The Cenation Leader finally spoke about the match during his appearance on INSIGHT with Chris Van Vliet. The 48-year-old stated that his arch-nemesis had to secure the win following his massive return. Cena added that he had been in a similar situation against Lesnar previously on multiple occasions.

"You have this guy [Brock Lesnar] who’s returning, who absolutely looks like he hasn’t aged a day, moves like it. He can split his pants and still move like a ballerina, slip on his Pyro, and do a ninja roll and be okay. He’s a beast. It’s his first time back. I’ve been in this seat before. It’s like I’m always in the seat when Brock comes back, Rock after Miami, who’s the next guy? SummerSlam with Roman, here he comes again. After he beats Taker for the streak, I’ve sat in this seat before. You have to figure out who gets the shine that night," Cena said.

Only time will tell how John Cena will perform against Gunther this Saturday.
