"It just made me fall in love with her even more" - WWE Hall of Famer makes bold claim about Asuka

WWE star Nikki Bella recently spoke about how Asuka became one of her favorite opponents. The star is a prominent member of the RAW roster.

The Empress of Tomorrow recently completed a decade in WWE. She dominated in NXT and then became an integral part of the main roster. During a recent episode of The Nikki and Brie Show, NikkI Bella said Asuka would go down as one of the all-time greats. She felt the Japanese legend always tried to make everyone look good in the ring, and this garnered her the respect of her peers.

"And then there’s Asuka. I think she’ll always be one of the greats, and she just makes everything look so easy. And she's another one who tells really good stories." She continued, "When I got to work with Asuka, I was like, 'Whoa.' She’s truly about the match, and both people are looking good, or however many people are in it. She just wants to put on an incredible match. And sometimes you’ll go to do something, and it’s about the person wanting to get all their sh*t in (...) Like, you’re the same. There are a lot of women that [sic] are the same, especially more, I think, in this era. But it just made me fall in love with her even more. She’s just so giving. She would make it one day if she wanted to be a coach."

Bayley also praised Asuka

During the same conversation, Bayley also heaped praise on The Empress of Tomorrow. The Role Model mentioned that the star had been in the wrestling business for a long time and was passionate about the business.

Bayley revealed that Asuka was one of her favorite opponents because of the intensity she brought to the ring.

"She’s been doing it for so long. She’s one of my top favorite people to be in the ring with. She turns on that fighter mode where you’re standing across from her and you just feel like, ‘I gotta fight.’ She just does something."
