WWE Superstar Randy Orton has feuded with some of the biggest names in the history of pro wrestling, rightfully earning him the nickname 'The Legend Killer.'

In 2004, Orton was still an up-and-coming star, while Mick Foley had cemented his spot as a fan-favorite. The two faced each other in one of the most brutal matches in WWE history at the Backlash Premium Live Event that year. Their Hardcore Match for the Intercontinental Championship is widely considered the night that changed Orton's career.

In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT, Foley recalled his match with Orton and the preparations that took place backstage. He also revealed what happened after the match and the struggle he had to endure to make it to WWE RAW after Backlash 2004:

"I had many trials and tribulations getting back home. My luggage was delayed for four hours. I did throw up in the parking lot of Tim Hortons in Edmonton, because my brain had jogged a little bit, but I made it back in time for RAW the next night, and it was like the fans looked at him like he was a completely different guy. And it really made me feel good." [H/T: Chris Van Vliet]

Mick Foley reveals his all-time favorite match

In the same interview, Foley was asked about his favorite match from his career. He revealed that his bout with Randy Orton was at the top of the list, with his Street Fight with Triple H a close second:

"My favorite match was Backlash against Randy Orton. Crazy thing is, if he has a new favorite, I don't want to know about it."

Randy Orton is a first-ballot future Hall of Famer, having won 14 World Championships and main-eventing WrestleMania multiple times.

His ascent to the top of the card started with his storyline with Mick Foley, and the two looked back on their intense brawl last year in a video posted by WWE on their YouTube channel.
