John Cena's final WWE match is bound to make fans emotional, as The Franchise Player has vowed to retire for good. Meanwhile, Lana stated that she doesn't think Cena will retire and explained her reasons.
John Cena has remained loyal to the Stamford-based promotion for over two decades and became the face of the company, which lasted over a decade under the old regime. However, The Leader of The Cenation moved into a different industry and became a household name as an actor in Hollywood.
In an appearance on TMZ's Inside The Ring, the WWE legend stated that she doesn't believe that John Cena will retire in December, as he's been the biggest worker in the Stamford-based promotion. However, she also stated that she would be really sad to watch him retire and might be in denial ahead of the impending doom.
"I mean, please. The biggest worker of them all is John Cena. Like, I will never believe that John Cena or The Undertaker are retiring or Triple H. I just think it's a gimmick. Like they're all retiring because it's the gimmick, you know? We're all going to buy the merchandise and the towel. And of course, I'm going to buy the towel and the cup and everything because, God forbid, this is his last time, and I don't want to be that person to be like, 'Oh yeah, he's coming back.' And then it never happens. But I hope he's not done. I would be really sad," Lana said.
