Sonya Deville left WWE earlier this year, but it seems that there are still many stories that she has to share about her time under contract.
The former star recently spoke on her Unwrapped Podcast about social media and an update that she shared about Lacey Evans when she was receiving a sudden push on the main roster.
Deville implied that Lacey Evans and Vince McMahon were a thing because of the push, which led to WWE getting upset with her. She then noted that she was called to McMahon's office and forced to apologise.
“I almost got fired one time because I tweeted something about Vince. I don’t even remember what it was. I said something about Vince, and like, Lacey Evans, and it was insinuating that Lacey Evans and Vince had a thing. It was a joke. It was like a ha-ha joke. I had to go into Vince’s office and apologize. Hulk Hogan was there. I said, ‘Hi, sir. I’m sorry I insinuated Lacey sucked your d*.’”*

It seems that Deville's apology was accepted since she was able to move on from the situation.
Social media has caused a number of scandals in WWE over the years
Social media is something that WWE appears to now be using to its advantage, but over the years, it has caused a whole host of issues.
One of these issues came back in 2015 when AJ Lee called out Stephanie McMahon for not using her voice to help the women in the business. This has only recently been addressed by the two women, a decade later.
It seems that many stars also have a hatred for social media and the feedback they get from fans in this current era, which could be why many have opted to stop using it.
