Jacob Fatu is on an injury hiatus from WWE, but recently, he had a heartfelt reunion with a legend. The veteran in question is The Boogeyman.
In 2024, Jacob Fatu received his massive break in the industry when he joined Friday Night SmackDown and became Solo Sikoa's personal enforcer. In the coming months, The Samoan Werewolf got over on his own and created his own identity, which led him to championship gold at WrestleMania 41 when he won the United States Championship.
While he's currently on an injury hiatus from in-ring competition, he reunited with The Boogeyman. The two stars have a past, as the veteran often looked out for and guided the 33-year-old star on the independent scene. In a video posted on WWE's YouTube channel, Fatu and Boogeyman reunited.
The former United States Champion spoke highly of the veteran and explained how big brother used to look out after him and stars like him on the independent circuit.

"It's big, bro, man. One love. I love you so much, man. I love you. You know, man, when it comes to the love for me, with us, man, Unc has done nothing but just guided us and showed us nothing but love on the road. I mean, I don't want to get emotional, but before WWE, man, I was grinding on the independent scene, and this was a big brother who was always there, just nothing but love, man," Fatu said.
What happened to Jacob Fatu on WWE SmackDown?
After WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas, Jacob Fatu dominated the men's division as the United States Champion. This later became a storyline with Solo Sikoa, where Sikoa became the first wrestler to score a win over The Samoan Werewolf in a one-on-one match and won the title.
The two feuded in the coming months, and Fatu ended his feud with MFT at WWE SummerSlam 2025 in New Jersey, where he lost a Steel Cage match. A while later, the 33-year-old SmackDown star vanished from the product and returned following Wrestlepalooza.
The Samoan Werewolf started an angle with Drew McIntyre, but he was forced to drop it due to a non-wrestling-related injury. Earlier this month, the company filed an angle where McIntyre brutally attacked Fatu and wrote him off from the weekly product reportedly for the rest of the year.
