Many WWE wrestlers often find work in other promotions after leaving the sports entertainment juggernaut. Some end up signing with other well-known promotions, such as AEW or TNA, while others choose to test themselves on the independent circuit instead of staying with one promotion. However, a few also end up in completely unrelated fields.
One such wrestler is former WWE Universal Champion Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men had two separate spells with the promotion. After returning to WWE in 2022, he didn't reach the same heights as during his first run and was eventually released earlier this year in May. He hasn't been back in the ring since his release and is now hosting his own TV series, Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman, on the USA Network.
Speaking on the latest episode of Writing with Russo on Sportskeeda WrestleBinge, Vince Russo heaped praise on Strowman's work in the series and called WWE out for not booking him well enough during his time with the promotion.
"Bro, Strowman is great. He's freaking great. Like my God, great. And this is exactly what you and I are talking about. This guy is great, funny, had a great personality. The way he got along with other people, the communication. And I wasn't just watching one round. I saw a couple of episodes. This is the guy that you didn't know what to do with. This is the guy that got released like four times. I swear to God, I was so impressed by the job he was doing and how likable he came across, how smart he came across, how the people took to him. And this is, this is an under-40 guy, and you didn't know how to book this guy," Russo said.

The series shows Strowman visiting over 50-year-old restaurants across the United States and learning about their history and signature dishes. Three episodes have already aired on the USA Network, and the full series is expected to run for five episodes.
It remains to be seen whether Braun Strowman will return to wrestling after this stint or continue to build his career in this field.
