Huge Pat McAfee Return Being Planned After He Said He Would Not Commentate in WWE, Major Name Sends Message

There is a huge update on Pat McAfee and a return being planned to WWE. The star was told that he would be brought back.

Pat McAfee's WWE return may be taking place very soon

Nick Khan was on Pat McAfee's show, and there he spoke with Pat about various things leading into John Cena's last match before leaving the company and retiring after next week's Saturday Night's Main Event. They also spoke about McAfee's own absence.

McAfee has not been part of WWE since earlier in the year, when he removed himself from programming after it became too much and he was exhausted. The star's schedule with his shows, commentary appearances, the College GameDay show, and more meant he was always traveling or working, and never really had time to recover from it all. The star's removal from all of it saw others have to step up and fill his position next to Michael Cole on the commentary desk.

However, during his appearance on McAfee, Nick Khan made clear that he would be working to bring the commentator back to the company. He said he was going to return, and the two of them would sit down to discuss it once college football slowed down again.

“Listen, we’re going to bring you back. I know you and I are going to sit together once college football slows a little bit.”

McAfee has not been a consistent presence in WWE. First appearing as an analyst, he later became a commentator, but his commentary stints usually lasted only the first part of the year, with him leaving for the rest of the year.

His responsibilities with football have made him part of the company only for a limited time each year, appearing alongside Michael Cole. His chemistry with Cole has also made for an interesting dynamic.
