John Cena is days away from retiring. Ahead of his retirement, a top WWE brass has given his thoughts on the 17-time World Champion.
Nick Khan is the latest to comment on John Cena. The Last Real Champion has had a legendary career in the WWE. During this time, he won multiple World Titles and was the face of the company for many years. Cena was known for his work ethic and loyalty, which garnered him respect among his peers. Now, the 17-time World Champion will be competing in his final match at Saturday Night's Main Event.
Nick Khan recently appeared on The Pat McAfee Show, where he praised Cena for his work ethic and "GOAT mentality."
"You talk about people who work their behinds off, who never say that theyβre tired: Cena. You know him, you never hear him say, βIβm so tired, I canβt believe this, I have to do this or that.β He just does it. And when you talk about the GOAT [Greatest of All Time], thatβs GOAT mentality. He deserves everything that heβs earned in his life, and itβs our honor to help see him out."

John Cena's father is not happy with WWE's choice of potential final opponent for his son
LA Knight and Gunther will face each other in the finals of the Last Time is Now Tournament, where the winner will get to be Cena's final opponent. Although Gunther is the favorite to win the match, Cena's father is not happy with this choice.
Speaking on the All Axxess podcast, Cena Sr. said that he wouldn't have chosen Gunther to be his son's final opponent because the Ring General doesn't need the rub.
βWell it certainly wouldnβt be Gunther, thatβs for sure. I donβt think that thatβs a wise move. I donβt think the fans would enjoy that move. Myself, personally, Gunther does not need the rub. By the way, Iβm not a fan of on the way out youβve got to push somebody over the top. Youβre supposed to pass quote unquote the torch. I donβt know whether thatβs written anywhere in professional wrestling," he said. [H/T: Fightful]
