WWE Superstar Gunther recently discussed John Cena's upcoming final outing inside the ring at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. The Ring General claimed that he would break hearts on the show.
After a year-long retirement tour, John Cena is set to hang up his boots after one last match this weekend. The Triple H-led creative team held The Last Time Is Now Tournament to determine The GOAT's final opponent. In the finals of this tournament, Gunther defeated LA Knight and has now received a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to retire the 17-time World Champion.
Ahead of this much-anticipated clash, Gunther made an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show on ESPN. The Ring General said that he will do everything in his power to break fans' hearts at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event, suggesting that he will defeat John Cena.
"Let's compare [Cena's career] to a book. The last chapter will be written on Saturday. It's just a question. Is it going to be a happy ending or is it going to be a heartbreak? And I'm going to do everything in my power that it's going to be a heartbreak," he said.

WWE legend believes John Cena won't lose to Gunther at Saturday Night's Main Event
During a recent edition of his Kliq This podcast, WWE legend Kevin Nash said that he doesn't believe John Cena will lose to Gunther in his retirement match at WWE Saturday Night's Main Event.
Nash added that he feels the December 13 match is more of a "goodbye" to The GOAT.
"I don’t see John jobbing on his last match, so it doesn’t matter… I don’t go into this seeing John doing a job. So it’s just like... It’s saying goodbye to John. It’s like when Cal Ripken beat the streak that Gehrig had," he said.
It remains to be seen what the Triple H-led creative team has planned for John Cena's final match this weekend.
