The Ring General returned to in-ring action after more than three months to be a part of the Last Time is Now Tournament. He did not miss a single step and went on to defeat LA Knight in the final. As a result, the Austrian will now compete against the Never Seen 17 in the latter's last wrestling match.

Earlier this week on Monday Night RAW, Gunther delivered an intense promo claiming that he would win the bout via submission. The former World Heavyweight Champion recently posted a picture of himself tearing apart a John Cena Farewell Tour rally towel. He also wrote a short message for The Cenation Leader.

Earlier this year on the July 12 edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, Gunther defeated Goldberg in the latter's retirement match. Only time will tell whether a similar fate awaits the 17-time world champion on December 13.

WWE Hall of Famer believes John Cena will win his retirement match

While most of the wrestling fans expect Gunther to secure a win over The Cenation Leader at Saturday Night's Main Event, WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash believes otherwise.

Speaking on his Kliq THIS podcast, Nash opined that he does not see Cena losing his last WWE match. The veteran insinuated that everyone would tune in to watch the show to celebrate the veteran's career, not to witness him get bested.

"I don’t see John jobbing on his last match, so it doesn’t matter… I don’t go into this seeing John doing a job. So it’s just like... It’s saying goodbye to John. It’s like when Cal Ripken beat the streak that Gehrig had," Nash said.

It remains to be seen if John Cena ends his wrestling career on a high as predicted by Kevin Nash.
