Future Of 2 Beloved Legends Returning To WWE Revealed By Veteran

There is now an update on two beloved legends finally returning to WWE. A veteran has spoken on their future in the company.

The Hardy Boyz returning to WWE is definitely possible, says Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy spoke about returning to the company in his The Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast. There, he said that they were seen as a legacy team by the company and were born and bred there. He said that it was very possible that they had runs with the company again, be it on NXT, RAW, or SmackDown. He saiod that there were a lot of different matches possible, and that was what he and Jeff Hardy would bve best for.

The two only recently lost the NXT tag titles.

"I think WWE looks at us as Legacy X. We were WWE born and bred and uh you know maybe maybe we do stick our stick our heads back in NXT, do another little run there. Maybe we stick our heads into a Raw, do a small run there. We stick our heads into Smackdown, do a small run there. I definitely think there is a lot of interesting, exciting stuff that can be done, especially if we are used as as novelty acts. I think that's where Jeff and I are at the best if doing something for WWE."

It is up to Triple H, how he would want to use the two stars.

Matt Hardy explained what sort of run he and Jeff Hardy would have in WWE

Matt Hardy went on to say that they could always be a novelty act in the company and perform for the company in short burts and have small exclusive runs. He said that even if they went there it would not be solid booking for them as a team until WrestleMania 44 or 45. He did say that anything could happen in wrestling.

"If we come in like a novelty act and uh you know, it's not like we're going to be there and we're booking all the way from you know, Wrestlemania 44 to 45, brother, you know, we're going to do a solid year on TV, whatever. You know, I think when we come in and we have a short explosive little run, I think that's where we are used in our most optimal way. So, we'll see. You know, it's pro wrestling and and never say never. Any anything could happen in pro wrestling, you know, in 2026."

It remains to be seen if they return to the company.
