WWE Superstars often tend to continue their careers on the independent circuit following their release or departure from the company. Recently, Gigi Dolin went viral when she crossed a line during a match.
Priscilla Kelly, fka Gigi Dolin, was a well-established wrestler on the independent circuit when she signed a deal with the Stamford-based promotion in 2021. Dolin achieved success on the developmental brand alongside Toxic Attraction's Jacy Jayne when the two captured the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship.
However, Kelly made headlines coming out of the event as she went viral on X at GCW Say You Will 2025. During the match, Priscilla Kelly, fka Gigi Dolin, added an erotic touch to a wrestling move when Effy was on the bottom rope. The move did go viral, and Kelly walked out of the event with a win.

The former two-time WWE NXT Women's Tag Team Champion's career on the independent circuit seems to be going well, as she racked up a few championships following her release from the Stamford-based promotion in May 2025.
Former WWE star Gigi Dolin addresses personal struggles
Wrestlers often dream of joining the Stamford-based promotion, as many have watched the company and its weekly product before they started their journey as professional wrestlers, and the promotion's work even inspired a generation of talent to join the industry.
However, signing a contract with WWE doesn't make one's life better, as Gigi Dolin, aka Priscilla Kelly, addressed her mental struggles while working in NXT. In an interview with Ringsiders Wrestling, the two-time NXT Women's Tag Team Champion opened up about her personal struggles in her final years in the Stamford-based promotion.
"Somewhere toward that last year of being with Toxic Attraction, I went through, like, a really bad depression for various reasons behind the scenes, but I went through a really bad mental state where, like, I wasn’t myself anymore. I didn’t feel like myself. I felt lost. I felt very stagnant. And you know, I put on weight, and I stopped caring about how I looked in the ring because I was so depressed," she said.
While the 28-year-old star had a decent run, she can always become a bigger name and possibly return to the promotion down the line.
