A former WWE World Heavyweight Champion revealed his potential retirement age in a recent interview. The star is currently 45 years old and stated he would be wrestling up to the time he is 75.
Dolph Ziggler (aka Nic Nemeth) made his return to the WWE ring to wrestle Solo Sikoa in the first round of the Last Time is Now Tournament on the latest edition of Monday Night RAW. Although the veteran put forth an impressive performance, the MFT leader won the bout to advance to the next round.
Speaking in an interview with MuscleManMalcolm following his return, Dolph Ziggler noted that he worked smart and not hard, which would be the reason he would wrestle till 75. However, the star, who has been wrestling for 22 years, later stated that he did not have any number in mind. Ziggler added that he never felt better in his life, insinuating he would like to carry on for as long as possible.
"I work smart, not hard. There’s a reason I’m going to be wrestling till I’m 75, not because I have to… I don't have any dates and numbers in mind, but I've never felt better in my life, and I'm 22 years in," Ziggler said.

Wrestling legend believes WWE will bring back Dolph Ziggler
While speaking on TMZ's Inside the Ring, legendary WWE star Mark Henry spoke about Dolph Ziggler and Matt Cardona's return to the wrestling promotion.
The 54-year-old pointed out that The Showoff got a warm reception from Madison Square Garden on his return, and it would be very difficult for the global juggernaut not to bring him back.
"The reaction that he [Dolph Ziggler] got in Madison Square Garden… Impossible not to use him again. You are basically looking at a pile of money and going, nah, I don't want that money. That money is too crisp… No, they saw dollars with him. And the whole internet blew up. You blew up the internet, and you're not going to work? Get out of here. They're gonna give him some money, man; he's coming back," Henry said.
It will be interesting to see if WWE brings back Dolph Ziggler for more matches in the future.
