John Cena kicked off this week’s episode of WWE RAW, marking his final red brand appearance, as the new Intercontinental Champion. However, before the Franchise Player could say what he wanted, the star was interrupted by his opponent from last week’s episode of the red brand, Dominik Mysterio.

The former NXT North American Champion demanded a rematch for the title, which John Cena made official and called out a referee to get the action rolling right there. However, before the match could start, Mysterio denied the match on Cena’s terms. The former champion stated that he wanted to face the 17-time World Champion in his home turf of San Diego, California, at Survivor Series, which Cena accepted.

Former one-half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, Xavier Woods, commented on Dominik Mysterio getting his rematch official for Survivor Series, and questioned John Cena for making the match official. Woods stated why Mysterio got the rematch when he just lost the title last week on the red brand.

The Judgment Day reunited against John Cena on WWE RAW this week

After nobody from the Judgment Day came out to help Dominik Mysterio last week while he was defending his Intercontinental Championship against John Cena, the faction reunited to unleash an attack on the Franchise Player on his final RAW appearance.

While the Judgment Day tried to take over the squared circle with their action, Sheamus and Rey Mysterio made their way out to even the odds and take down the faction. A six-man tag team match was then made official, which also ended in Cena and his team’s favour.

The Franchise Player is now set to defend his Intercontinental title against Dominik Mysterio at Survivor Series. Time will now tell what WWE has in store for the stars next.
