Former WWE champion hurls brutal insult at Drew McIntyre ahead of RAW

Former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre is no stranger to social media banter. A popular star recently hurled brutal insults at The Scottish Warrior, making a hilarious remark about his appearance.

The 40-year-old defeated Jimmy Uso in a No Disqualification Match on the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown. After the show, McIntyre posted a tweet, taking a dig at Uso's wife, Naomi, leading to a social media back-and-forth between the two.

The Glow recently took to X/Twitter to post a picture of Drew McIntyre and his wife recently shared by the Scotsman himself. The former Women's World Champion noted that McIntyre's wife looked good, but he was dressed poorly and resembled Lurch, the butler from The Addams Family.

"@DMcIntyreWWE sis look good but your raggedy a** should have been Lurch," she wrote.

Wrestling veteran shares his take on Drew McIntyre's loss at WWE Wrestlepalooza

Drew McIntyre's last appearance at a premium live event was at Wrestlepalooza. He challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Unfortunately, he could not secure the win.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, wrestling veteran Vince Russo reflected on the results of the Wrestlepalooza Premium Live Event. He opined that the loss did nothing for McIntyre. He questioned WWE's decision to have McIntyre lose high-stakes matches.

"I'm looking at this Wrestlepalooza and I'm like, 'Okay, Cena gets destroyed by Brock. Great for Brock, what did that do for Cena?' Then we get to the main, Cody over Drew. Great for Cody, what does that do [for Drew]? Just this obsession with clean finishes in fake wrestling matches. This is why, bro, nobody's over. How many times are you going to beat Drew McIntyre until he means absolutely nothing, bro?" Russo said.

McIntyre is scheduled to challenge Cody Rhodes one more time on the upcoming edition of Saturday Night's Main Event. It remains to be seen if The Scottish Warrior can take down The American Nightmare this time around and secure the gold.
