The Judgment Day recently got back into full strength after the return of Liv Morgan at the 2025 Survivor Series. However, shortly after, the heel crew saw another member, JD McDonagh, suffer an injury. Now, Finn Balor has posted a post-surgery update about his tag team partner.

The Prince took to X (fka Twitter) and tweeted that he got home after checking up on JD. The inaugural Universal Champion stated that his tag team partner was feeling positive and would soon make a complete recovery.

“I just got home this very second from checking on my dear friend @jd_mcdonagh & I can confirm that he is in good spirit’s & will make a full recovery 👍,” he wrote.

Notably, McDonagh underwent hand surgery and posted an update via his Instagram stories to inform his fans about it. The Judgment Day member wrote that he would be back soon, indicating that he won’t miss a lot of dates owing to this setback.

This is the second time JD McDonagh has been injured this year, with the first instance occurring in January 2025 against The War Raiders. The Irish wrestler suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung and was out for three months before returning on RAW after WrestleMania 41.

His interference helped Dominik Mysterio win his first-ever Intercontinental Championship defense against Penta. It would be interesting to see when JD will be back in action.

The Judgment Day could have new problems

The Judgment Day held four major championships in its grasp. However, Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez lost the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship to Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss at the 2025 SummerSlam. Two months later, on October 20, 2025, JD McDonagh and Finn Balor lost the World Tag Team Championship to AJ Styles and Dragon Lee.

Liv Morgan returned at the 2025 Survivor Series with a resolve to get The Judgment Day all its gold back. However, her best friend, Raquel Rodriguez, doesn’t seem to be on the same page as her.

Despite Morgan subtly letting Stephanie Vaquer know that she is after the Women’s World Championship right after her comeback, Rodriguez asked La Primera for a title match the very next week, showcasing an unseen aggressive side of her.

When The Miracle Kid asked Big Mami Cool why she attacked Nikki Bella to ask for her title shot without informing her, Rodriguez said that she didn’t know that she had to run things by Morgan before doing anything. Taking the hint, Morgan said she will team up with Roxanne Perez for the tag titles.

This is an unexpected turn of events, as Rodriguez was loyal and considerate of Liv Morgan while she was away with a shoulder injury. Instead, Finn Balor and The Prodigy were dismissive of The Miracle Kid. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for The Judgment Day.
