WWE isn't an ideal wrestling destination for everyone. As such, former AEW star and UFC fighter Paige VanZant recently addressed the possibility of joining the Stamford-based promotion someday.

PVZ became one of the rarest female MMA athletes to crossover into pro wrestling. However, it wasn't the smoothest transition for her, as she only wrestled once during her brief time with All Elite Wrestling.

She teamed up with Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky to defeat Tay Melo, Sammy Guevara, and Frankie Kazarian in a six-person tag team match at Double or Nothing in 2022.

She has since focused on her outside ventures, including Power Slap.

During a recent Q&A on Instagram, Paige VanZant was asked whether she would ever join WWE. The 31-year-old MMA fighter ruled out the idea, saying she would prefer to work for AEW again if she were to go back to pro wrestling.

"So I've kind of talked about my journey with the AEW, and at the time when I entered into the pro wrestling world, I wasn't fully committed, I would say. So I don't know. I think if I were to go into pro wrestling, it would probably be the AEW. I had an incredible experience with them. Love the promotion, so I think pro wrestling world, that's where I would go."

WWE had reached out to Paige VanZant

Speaking on the Insight with Chris Van Vliet in 2021, PVZ revealed that WWE approached her years ago and that she had visited the performance center once.

“They have. I have visited the Performance Center, because it’s up in Orlando. I was able to look around, and get a sense to what it’s all about.”

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported last year that Paige VanZant has no interest in being a pro wrestler anymore, which explains why she parted ways with AEW.

Have fans seen the last of her in a squared circle? Only time will tell.
