Former WWE Superstar Paige's main roster debut was one of the most memorable moments of her career. The Anti-Diva defeated AJ Lee to win the Divas Championship on her first night on RAW.

In a recent interview with Daria Berenato (fka Sonya Deville) and Toni Cassano on Daria & Toni Unwrapped, Paige (aka Saraya) opened up about her relationship with AJ Lee. The former Divas Champion called Lee her "fairy godmother" and claimed that she always looked out for her. Paige also added that things started to go downhill when Lee had to leave WWE due to her injury in 2015:

"AJ's f***ing wonderful. I call her my fairy godmother, dude. She took me under her wing big time. [Were you close?] Yes. [Do you talk now?] Uh I texted her the other day. We haven't talked in a while, right? But when we were on the road together, we were just f***ing close. She brought me like Doc Martens with the Union Jack the first time I got to tour in the UK. She babied me, dude. She babied me and I just will forever be thankful for her. She kept me, like, normal until she left and then that's when everything f***ed up for me. Um, she's the one who kept me, like, sane."

Paige's last match was in AEW in October 2024. She has since been focusing on other projects, with her AEW contract ending in March 2025.

AJ Lee reveals surprising reason why she didn't talk to CM Punk for a year

AJ Lee recently appeared as a guest on Stephanie McMahon's What's Your Story? podcast. The former Divas Champion shared an intriguing story from before when she and CM Punk were together. Lee revealed a surprising incident after which she didn't speak to the Straight Edge Superstar for a year:

"I remember when we were just friends, we were talking at a restaurant one time, and he was saying something like he knows he’s never going to get married, and a weird voice in my head went, 'You’re going to marry me.' I was like, ‘B**ch shut up, who was that?’ And then I didn’t talk to him for, like, a year. I was freaked out by that," Lee said. [H/T: WrestleTalk]

AJ Lee returned to the ring at Wrestlepalooza this year, teaming up with her husband, CM Punk, to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match.
