Every ex-WWE star working in AEW will come back one day, predicts veteran

A WWE legend has made quite a controversial prediction about Tony Khan's All Elite Wrestling. Bully Ray feels every former World Wrestling Entertainment star who's currently in AEW will return one day.

Bully Ray is one of several veterans who have been highly critical of the AEW product over the years. Given Ray's association with the Triple H-led WWE, many fans believe he's not the right person to give an opinion on the Stamford-based promotion's competition.

On the latest edition of Busted Open, Bully Ray said that everybody will eventually come back to World Wrestling Entertainment after realizing that AEW isn't for them. Here's his full comment:

"Everybody will eventually come back to the WWE because if their eyes haven't been opened already, their eyes will eventually open, they will get every drop of money they can possibly get out of that company, and then they'll get frustrated or realize this is not it for me anymore," Ray said. Many stars who used to work in AEW are now in WWE

In early 2022, Cody Rhodes shockingly left AEW and made his blockbuster return at WrestleMania 38. That night, he defeated Seth Rollins and kicked off one of the greatest runs in company history. Rhodes went on to headline three straight WrestleManias with Roman Reigns and John Cena, and is still one of the biggest stars in the promotion.

Over the years, several massive stars have made their way to World Wrestling Entertainment from AEW, most notably CM Punk and Jade Cargill. It remains to be seen if Bully's prediction comes true in the near future. AEW is currently doing well as an alternative promotion and boasts its own dedicated fanbase. AEW fans certainly won't appreciate Ray's comments berating the Tony Khan-led company.
