Despite his suspension from Friday Night SmackDown, The Scottish Warrior is all set to wrestle at the upcoming PLE. He will join forces with Brock Lesnar, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and Logan Paul. The team, accompanied by Paul Heyman, will wrestle Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, CM Punk, and The Usos in a WarGames Match.

Earlier today, Drew McIntyre posted a video from his training. In the caption, the former WWE Champion noted that he had spent half of 2025 working with Coach Jeff on improving his mobility and explosiveness. McIntyre acknowledged the fact that he hasn't had the best time inside the squared circle, but was working hard to get back on the right track.

"Not just built for show. Built to go. I've spent half of 2025 working with Coach Jeff on improving my mobility, my explosiveness and ensuring physically I’m at the top of my very game. Its been tough at times in the ring, but I'm working hard to get back on the right track," McIntyre wrote.

Wrestling veteran wants Drew McIntyre to win the Undisputed WWE Championship

In his most recent in-ring appearance, Drew McIntyre challenged Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship on Saturday Night's Main Event. The Scotsman put forth a praiseworthy performance, but it was not enough to get the gold around his waist.

After the show, wrestling veteran Konnan pushed for McIntyre to win the title. Speaking on his K100 podcast, the 61-year-old hailed the SmackDown star for his work and opined that the Stamford-based promotion should put the Undisputed WWE Championship on him.

"I agree they should put the title on Drew McIntyre. Enough already, as Disco [Inferno] would say. Already in shape, looks like a star. Thank God they got rid of that cheesy sword that you knew he would never use, and it was named after his mother, something like that. Come on, dude. He can talk. He works social media perfectly. Bro, he’s all around perfect. Give him the title, let’s see what happens," Konnan said.

Drew McIntyre has already had three unsuccessful attempts at defeating Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. It will be intriguing to see if the two stars will cross paths again after Survivor Series: WarGames.
