Dominik Mysterio makes bold claim ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames: "Not tooting any horns"

Dominik Mysterio is set to compete in one of the biggest matches of his career on this weekend at Survivor Series: WarGames. Ahead of his Intercontinental Championship against John Cena, the King of Luchadores made some bold claims about his position as one of the top stars in the company.

In a recent interview with Times of San Diego's Stos Zafiropoulos, Mysterio made some bold claims stating all his achievements.

"The fact that I came in and only had two matches and became their basically heavyweight champion, their mega champion, I think speaks levels of the kind of Luchador and Mysterio that I am. You know, my father never held that title. Took me two matches to get their main championship. I've had it for, you know, months now. No one's been able to take it off of me." He said. He also talked about AAA's new TV deal claiming that he's responsible for it. He also criticised Penta claiming that he beats him in the ring everytime.

"AAA now has a TV deal because of, you know, who's their mega champ who's their mega champion at the moment, right? I'm not tooting any horns here, but I'm just saying. But at the end of the day, I've done my fair share. I've beaten one of the greatest luchadors in Rey Mysterio. Penta, who they claim is one of the best. I dog walk his a** every time I wrestle him. So, I mean it just speaks for itself." (4:52 onwards)

Dominik Mysterio has been one of the most interesting stars on WWE programming this year. It will be interesting to see what the future holds for him.

Dirty Dom achieved a lot during this year in his singles career. At WrestleMania, he won the Men's Intercontinental Championship in a Fatal 4-Way match by stealing the win from Finn Balor. Later this year, he became the AAA Mega Champion by beating El Hijo Del Vikingo.

He is now set to face the Last Real Champion in his final PLE match of all time. Cena will defend his Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames against Dominik Mysterio.

It will be exciting to see if Dominik will beat John Cena in his last PLE match.
