Jon Moxley, fka WWE's Dean Ambrose, had a lengthy run in the Stamford-based promotion before he made All Elite Wrestling his new home. Recently, Rikishi Fatu stated it would be good for The Lunatic Fringe to be revealed as the mystery man from Survivor Series.

Jon Moxley, fka Dean Ambrose, had a disappointing run in the promotion under the old regime. Unlike Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, Ambrose was stuck in the mid-card division and had some underwhelming matches and feuds in the company before he decided to leave.

Speaking on the Rikishi Fatu Off The Top podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked who the mystery man could be from Survivor Series. The former Intercontinental Champion stated that he would like to see Moxley return to WWE and could immediately have a storyline with Seth Rollins based on the masked man's actions from San Diego.

"For me, it would be nice to see [Jon] Moxley. If you think about that, Moxley comes in and hits it on CM Punk. I kind of see Moxley because do we see Brock Lesnar gonna be there full time? So for The Vision, when the time is right for Seth Rollins to come through there's a seed right there planted between the two," Fatu said.

Can Jon Moxley, fka Dean Ambrose, return to WWE?

Rikishi Fatu isn't the only person in the industry to assume or entertain the idea that Jon Moxley, fka Dean Ambrose, could be the man behind the mask from Survivor Series. However, a fan took the speculation to another level when a Facebook handle shared a photoshopped image and claimed that it was Ambrose in San Diego.

According to Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp, The Lunatic Fringe wasn't the man from Survivor Series. He shut down rumors and speculation around the former WWE Champion's return to the company under the new regime. It'll be interesting to see which star turns out to be the mystery man from the event.
