This week’s episode of WWE NXT saw a possible tease for a faction’s move to RAW or SmackDown. The faction has been very dominant on the developmental brand, and additionally, DarkState has also secured the NXT Tag Team Championship twice.DarkState faced the team of Joe Hendry, Myles Borne, Je’Von Evans, and Leon Slater in the main event of NXT this week. The eight-man tag team match was held to decide which wrestler would get the advantage for the Iron Survivor Challenge at Deadline.During the bout, the commentators mentioned how the dangerous heel faction has already been to TNA and asked what could be next for them. They also asked if the crew could make their way to the main roster on RAW or SmackDown.Interestingly, Dion Lennox from the faction had the highest odds for winning the advantage, since a victory for his side would have meant a victory for him. On the other hand, the other wrestlers had to secure the pinfall to get the Iron Survivor Challenge advantage. Despite this, the match ended with Myles Borne getting the winning pin.Dion Lennox forfeited his WWE championshipDion Lennox is making his way to become a singles superstar. So far, he has operated in a group and has been the NXT Tag Team Champion alongside Osiris Griffin. This week, however, the 27-year-old handed his belt to Saquon Shugars.Lennox said that he wanted to bring a singles title to the faction. However, it won’t be fair if he wasn’t all in on the tag titles, which is why he wanted to give it away. Thus, Shugas and Griffin will now represent DarkState and hold the tag titles.Lennox was named as one of the WWE stars for the Iron Survivor Challenge and was handpicked by John Cena. The winner of the challenge will get a shot at the NXT Championship. He even did a backstage promo with Oba Femi shortly after relinquishing his WWE title. Speaking to The Ruler, Lennox reminded the former NXT Champion that he had blown him off as a wrestler who wasn’t championship material, but now he is going to take the top title. It would be interesting to see what lies ahead for Lennox.
