R-Truth made his long-awaited return to WWE on the Halloween episode of SmackDown, dressed as Santa Claus and seemingly confused about the season. Truth has been a high-profile star this year after his release from the company led to major backlash. Truth then made his return and was able to step into a story, but after turning heel and cutting his hair, this story was dropped. View this post on Instagram Instagram Post Despite his current absence, Truth has a reason to celebrate today, since November 13th marks 25 years for the legend in WWE. It was back in 2000 that he originally made his debut as K-Kwik, and has since left numerous times and been known under a number of different names, only to flourish in the current era as one of the company's most versatile performers. Truth also holds the record as the 54-time 24/7 Champion, a title that allowed him to come into his own and prove his uncanny comedic ability. R-Truth's WWE future remains unclearR-Truth is a different kind of WWE legend; he is someone who is popular with his peers and fans and is always happy to be part of anything that he is handed on or off-screen. The former champion is 53 years old and is still able to pull off some of the best matches of his career when called upon. It's unclear what the company has planned for him in the future, but it's clear that he has reverted back to his role as a comedic character who comes in and out as needed. He was able to wrestle John Cena earlier this year, in what was at the time to believed to be the last match of his WWE career, but since his return, he is now in the position where he could call the shots for himself.
