WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes recently took to social media to send an emotional message after the Survivor Series: WarGames Premium Live Event. The American Nightmare's side lost at the event.In this year's Men's WarGames Match, Cody Rhodes teamed up with CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and The Usos to lock horns with Brock Lesnar, Drew McIntyre, Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed. All of the stars involved in the bout put on an incredible display of action inside the ring, and for the most part, it was a back-and-forth affair.In the last stages of the match, it seemed like Rhodes' side would reign supreme. However, much to everyone's surprise, a masked man climbed inside the WarGames cage to hit Punk with a Super Kick and a Seth Rollins-esque Curb Stomp. This helped Breakker hit The Second City Saint with a vicious Spear and win the match for his team via pinfall. The identity of the mystery assailant remains unknown.Following this massive loss, Cody Rhodes has now taken to his Instagram stories to send an emotional message. The American Nightmare uploaded a backstage photo of himself with his Undisputed WWE Championship. Although Rhodes didn't write anything, he chose a song in the background to express his emotions.Cody added The Wood Brothers' famous song Luckiest Man to his post, suggesting that he was finding ways not to lose at Survivor Series: WarGames."My whole Saturday and Sunday too. I was thinking about ways not to lose," the song's opening lyrics.Check out his Instagram Story in the post below:Cody Rhodes was reportedly scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship at Survivor Series: WarGamesAccording to a recent report by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Daily Update, Cody Rhodes was scheduled to face Drew McIntyre with the Undisputed WWE Championship on the line at Survivor Series: WarGames. However, the Triple H-led creative team had to change its plans after Jacob Fatu got injured. Rhodes allegedly replaced Fatu in the Men's WarGames Match.The report also mentioned that former WWE United States Champion Austin Theory was supposed to be a part of The Vision's side for WarGames, but that plan changed as well due to Jacob's setback, and Theory was ultimately replaced with McIntyre.It remains to be seen what the Stamford-based promotion has planned for Cody Rhodes' future.
