WWE RAW saw a shocking title change take place, thanks in part to the return of AJ Lee. Maxxine Dupri captured her first WWE championship, the Intercontinental Title, after pinning Becky Lynch. While The Man has called out WWE officials over the moment, other Superstars were ecstatic.Maxxine Dupri has been attempting to prove herself in the ring since joining the Alpha Academy back in 2023. Fans and critics have seen her improve on-screen, starting with her first victory, a win over the former Valhalla with a Japanese Ocean Cycle Suplex (The Queen Suplex for you WWE 2K gamers), to multiple opportunities at the Women's Tag Titles and even the Women's World Championship. This year, Dupri's career has taken off.Though she initially lost to Becky Lynch in a title bout in August, Dupri continued to grind, eventually getting a count-out and DQ win over the Intercontinental Champion. On RAW, her hard work paid off...even if she had a little help from AJ Lee. Fans were elated when she pinned Lynch with a flying crossbody, and apparently so were her fellow Superstars.WWE posted a clip on X today, showing Rhea Ripley and CM Punk watching backstage. RAW's top stars jumped for joy when Dupri hit the crossbody and celebrated when she pulled off the upset. It was a truly wholesome moment. Maxxine Dupri's journey was a tough one, and her peers are clearly happy to see her dedication bear fruit. After her match, Lynch threatened a lawsuit, claiming that AJ Lee made the title change null and void due to Lee not having a manager's license. Lynch has found support in other former champions like the New Day and even the boys at the Old School Wrestling Podcast, but the promotion has not responded to her pleas. Now, she's expecting to see RAW GM Adam Pearce fired for the controversy"CLEAR EVIDENCE OF COLLUSION! They knew AJ didn’t have a license and yet celebrated her INTERFERENCE. I’d bet a good lawyer could make a great case based on this evidence. Luckily I HAVE THE BEST LAWYERS ON IT!
