CM Punk made a surprising pitch for the main event of WWE Survivor Series 2025. The PLE will air live this Saturday night from Petco Park in San Diego, California.

The Second City Saint will be teaming up with Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Usos in the Men's WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series. Speaking with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams show, Punk claimed that the Women's WarGames match should be the main event of the PLE. However, he noted that the Men's WarGames match would likely close the show due to the star power involved.

“I’m a little biased, my wife is obviously in that match, and I’m excited to watch it. I think the women should be the main event. Selfishly, I do probably think us guys will main event. There’s two titles involved in there. They’re not on the line, but star power is off the charts," he said. [H/T: Wrestling News]

WWE Hall of Famer comments on CM Punk's return to the company

Wrestling legend Rey Mysterio recently shared his thoughts on CM Punk's return to the company.

In a video shared by Roots of Fight, Mysterio noted that he was glad CM Punk returned to the company following his stint in AEW. The Hall of Famer added that he knew Punk would return someday when he left the company in 2014.

"I'm glad the Punk came back. [I'm] hoping that one day, we get to step in the ring together like we did back in 2002. We all go down this path that sometimes can be very hectic, very tiring, stressful at times, you know, it happened to me in 2014. After being with WWE for so many years, it's like I was tapping out. I had had enough, my body was telling me, 'Okay, you've had enough.' I left and came back and when Punk left, I knew that one day he would come back."
