CM Punk will be featured in a major upcoming project outside WWE. The Second City Saint is the reigning World Heavyweight Champion on RAW and was in action in the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series 2025 this past Saturday night.
According to Deadline, CM Punk has been cast in Netflix's romantic comedy The Bodyguard. The World Heavyweight Champion will be playing "Doghouse," who is an intimidating member of the security detail in the film. The cast also includes stars such as Andie MacDowell, Walker Hayes, Noah LaLonde, and Toby Sandeman.
Punk teamed up with Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, and The Usos in the Men's WarGames match at Survivor Series. A masked man interfered in the match and hit Punk with a Stomp. Bron Breakker capitalized on the attack and hit Punk with a Spear for the pinfall victory. It was announced during this past Monday's edition of WWE RAW that Breakker would be challenging the veteran for the World Heavyweight Championship on January 5, 2026.

WWE star comments on sharing the ring with CM Punk
SmackDown star Solo Sikoa recently commented on getting the opportunity to share the ring with CM Punk.
Sikoa competed in the Last Time is Now tournament but was eliminated by LA Knight this past Monday night on the red brand. Knight will be facing Gunther in the finals of the tournament to determine John Cena's last opponent in his retirement match at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13.
Speaking on WWE Playback, Sikoa stated that it was an honor to share the ring with greats such as Punk, Roman Reigns, and The Usos.
"You know, CM Punk, he didn't team with Roman, he teamed with The Usos and Sami. We live for times like these, man. Being in there with Punk, and obviously with Roman and my brothers and Sami, and especially to do it with the boys, too, man. I mean, our dads wrestled with each other back then, and we're wrestling with each other. It's cool. It's a cool thing," he said.
