In 2020, Drew McIntyre made a deafening statement when he eliminated Brock Lesnar from the Men's Royal Rumble match and faced the WWE Champion, The Beast Incarnate, for WrestleMania 36. In the end, The Scottish Warrior slayed The Beast without any fans in attendance and won the title.

Speaking on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, the wrestling analyst predicted that there might be some issues between the two stars based on their previous history, especially from Brock Lesnar's side, as The Beast Incarnate never got to even it with Drew McIntyre in a one-on-one match after WrestleMania 36.

"I think that there should be some kind of tension that exists. Maybe once the match is happening, some kind of tension exists between Drew McIntyre and Brock Lesnar, but it could be on Brock's side, right? Maybe Drew's standing up for himself a little too much," Roberts said.

Brock Lesnar enters WarGames at WWE Survivor Series 2025 for the first time in his career

WarGames became popular in WCW as the gimmick match was created decades ago, and Triple H revived it for the Black and Gold brand in 2017. The gimmick match slowly became popular with the new audience and was brought to WWE's main roster.

Brock Lesnar has almost done it all in the Stamford-based promotion as a performer under Vince McMahon's regime. However, The Beast was booked a bit differently under Triple H's creative leadership, and the 10-time WWE World Champion found himself in new feuds and challengers.

The Beast Incarnate will compete in a WarGames match for the first time in his career, which spans over two decades. It will be interesting to see which team scores the win and gains momentum before the end of the year.
