When things kicked off at Survivor Series: WarGames, those who didn't watch the pre-show noticed a massive change made by WWE. However, in reality, there was more than just one huge change made - there were three.Triple H mentioned during Survivor Series: WarGames that it was difficult to find a traditional point of entrance for WWE Superstars at Petco Park Arena in San Diego. As a result, he noted that the entrances would have to be made via the dugout instead. This is quite a shift from the usual way of doing things, where superstars make their entry to the stage. This was first noticed by fans who tuned into Survivor Series at the start, as Charlotte Flair made her way through the dugout. She was the first because she also won the WarGames advantage match for her team on SmackDown. Another massive change made by WWE was the fact that there were no shark cages like we are used to seeing, with superstars of the teams waiting for their turn. Instead, stars would have to wait in the back. And as for the third change, it was noted by Wade Barrett that if a superstar exits the cage, it is counted as their team forfeiting. It will be interesting to see the response to removing the shark cages. It was one of the more unique features of the WarGames match, and it allowed for some good storytelling outside the ring, like last year, when Roman Reigns intentionally blocked CM Punk to build tension. In previous years, when the WarGames match was an NXT staple, it also allowed for some fantastic storytelling moments. That has been taken away with superstars entering straight from the back. As for the dugout entrances, nobody can blame WWE for that since it was a matter of space.
