John Cena's retirement date is drawing close. As this happens, WWE just announced another Cena appearance.Cena has been the talk of the town ever since his Farewell Tour kicked off. The Last Real Champion has been making headlines as of late with his recent appearances on TV. Last week on RAW, he made history by winning the Intercontinental Championship. By doing so, he also became a Grand Slam Champion. Cena is also scheduled to defend the title at Survivor Series: WarGames. He will then compete in his final WWE match on December 13 at Saturday Night's Main Event. However, he is scheduled to make another appearance.Tonight on WWE NXT, Ava announced that Cena will select the participants of the Men's and Women's Iron Survivor Challenge next week at Gold Rush. However, it has not been confirmed that the 17-time World Champion will be physically present at the show. Therefore, he could also appear in a pre-taped segment where he announces the participants in the Iron Survivor Challenge matches. Tavion referenced Cena's appearance in the following segment and said he can't imagine not being picked by The Last Real Champion. He said that if Cena picked him for the match, then he would be the Iron Survivor.Tommy Dreamer commented on John Cena's last RAW appearanceLast week on WWE RAW, John Cena made his final appearance in his hometown to a wild reception from the fans. This week on the red brand, Cena showed up on the red brand for the final time. And the fans in New York City were just as loud as the Boston crowd.Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer compared Cena's appearances from both weeks and said the latter received a better response from the New York crowd than from the Boston fans."If I'm comparing last week's show to this week's show, I think the fans were louder for John Cena in Madison Square Garden than they were in Boston." He said. "The energy for that in Madison Square Garden, a lot of replays, but different. The show opens up with John, and this eruption. You can feel that energy, how it came across on television.
