Graves has done a pretty good job at the commentary booth. But his commentary style has come under scrutiny by the fans. Graves was absent from TV since the September 19, 2025, episode of SmackDown when Brock Lesnar brutally attacked him on the show. This meant he was off TV for a few weeks before returning. He had to go back like five days after we came home from the hospital, which s*cks. But I guess I'd rather have him leave a little early postpartum than have him miss the birth of his child. So we had to compromise. I still think he should have way more time off than just five days after the baby’s born. That’s crazy," Carmella said.
