WWE had added a major segment to Saturday Night's Main Event featuring John Cena's retirement match. The event will have a post-show segment.

December 13 will mark the last time John Cena will lace up a pair of boots in the ring. The Cenation Leader will cap off a career spanning over two decades at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. This will be the final match in the star's retirement tour. He had several major matches against the likes of Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, CM Punk, Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, Brock Lesnar, AJ Styles, and Dominik Mysterio, during this run.

This week, for the first time in the history of Saturday Night’s Main Event, the event will be followed by a special post-show presentation. This marks a major milestone for the show, showcasing the importance of Cena's last match. The segment will emanate on WWE's YouTube channel. Top stars appearing on the show will feature on the post-show alongside the company's broadcast team. Chief Content officer Triple H is also expected on the show.

WWE shared a video honoring John Cena

This past week, WWE released a video package on its social media in honor of John Cena's legacy.

The 17-time World Champion will close out his career this weekend in a match against Gunther. The Ring General won the Last Time is Now tournament to emerge as Cena's final opponent.

WWE uploaded the video four minute video on their YouTube channel. Top stars like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Triple H and more shared a heartfelt farewell message for the Cenation Leader. Other stars from the roster such as Logan Paul, Sami Zayn, The Miz, R-Truth, Seth Rollins, Rusev, LA Knight, Shinsuke Nakamura, Maxxine Dupri and many more also shared their tributes to Cena.
