Solo Sikoa has advanced to the semifinals of the Last Time is Now tournament, where he will face Gunther, but the win came controversially as the referee was forced to stop the match due to a legitimate injury.

This week on RAW, two quarter-final matches took place in the Last Time is Now tournament. Gunther defeated Carmelo Hayes in an absolute banger, while Solo Sikoa had to take on the highly-acclaimed luchador, Penta. The match was going on as normal, but one particular move saw Penta land horribly on his shoulders, and the medical team was forced to intervene. They informed the referee that the match could not continue, and as a result, the referee had to make the call to forcibly stop the match.

Penta has suffered a legitimate shoulder injury, and as a result, Solo Sikoa has advanced to the semifinals. Even in the aftermath of the match, Sikoa looked deflated at the way he picked up his victory. Perhaps he was concerned about his colleague suffering a bad injury.

There is nothing that can be said just yet, as we are in the immediate aftermath of the injury, but it looks like he could be out for months. One thing seems clear, and that is that Penta will likely be out for the rest of the year.

WWE is likely to provide an update on Penta as time passes and he gets medically evaluated. That's probably what's happening right now, and Sportskeeda Wrestling will surely give an update on Penta's status once something is mentioned about it.

Our best wishes go out to Penta, who had his debut year in WWE. He made his first appearance on the second episode of RAW on Netflix and has been on fire for a good part of the year. He will be back better than ever.
