WWE Survivor Series: WarGames ended with a bang, and the main event match-up was finished thanks to the interference of a mystery attacker, who took CM Punk out of order in an interesting way. The person behind the attack happening was also teasedThe climax of the WWE Survivor Series: WarGames match was quite an intense one. It was an evenly matched bout, but the difference-maker was a mystery attacker in a black hoodie. He would hit the superkick on CM Punk before following it up with a stomp. While that was a signature of Seth Rollins, there are a few things to prove that it wasn't him. For one, Rollins is out of order due to an injury, and Michael Cole and Wade Barrett confirmed this. Secondly, the stomp wasn't like how Seth Rollins usually does it.Unfortunately, the identity of the mystery attacker at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames wasn't revealed. Michael Cole teased that Paul Heyman had something to do with getting the attacker into the match. The way Heyman looked after the match, it seemed like he most certainly had something to do with the mystery attacker. Heyman has a way of thriving and surviving, as best exemplified by the main event of WrestleMania 41 on Saturday.Either way, there will be rampant speculation about who the mystery attacker is, with Austin Theory likely the leading candidate. He hasn't been seen for months now, and Grayson Waller abandoned him. Many pointed out that Theory fell off during the Triple H era, but if it were him at WWE Survivor Series 2025, that would be a game-changer.
