Solo Sikoa stood tall at the end of SmackDown, or so he thought that was going to happen. Just as his hands were raised, we saw a major return happen as Sikoa was taken out at the end of the show.This week on SmackDown, there was a Survivor Series-style match featuring Sami Zayn, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rey Fenix against The MFTs (Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Talla Tonga, Tama Tonga, and the "infamous" Tonga Loa). While the babyfaces appeared to have the advantage at first, things shifted momentum-wise, as we have seen several times throughout the years in this specific Elimination-style match-up. The MFTs would make a massive comeback, and after Rey Fenix was eliminated, it was just Sami Zayn against Sikoa, Talla Tonga, and Tama Tonga.Sami Zayn managed to take out Tama Tonga, and Talla Tonga was eliminated courtesy of a countout. In the end, Solo Sikoa still managed to get one back over Sami Zayn, getting the winning pinfall against the underdog from the underground. As Sikoa raised his hands in victory, the lights went off, and four of the five Wyatt Sicks ring members were standing by the apron. Behind Sikoa was the returning Uncle Howdy, who made a statement with Sister Abigail.This was a shocking end to SmackDown, but some might have expected this. If you are a keen observer of the background of the backstage segments, then you'll have noticed Uncle Howdy standing behind the babyface team.Either way, the Wyatt Sicks vs. the MFTs has been teased for a little while now on SmackDown, and one has to imagine that WWE will go all guns blazing with this rivalry, as it will likely be one of the centerpieces of the blue brand at the end of 2025.
