A former WWE star has said that John Cena injured a star on purpose to hand out a receipt. He has spoken about the situation.
John Cena apparently legitimately injured a top WWE star
David Otunga recently spoke up about the Rise and Fall of Nexus. There, he took to YouTube to talk about how, during a match against Cena, he hit him with a steel chair far more complex than anything he had ever taken before. He said that the shots were so hard, he rolled out of the ring before he was even supposed to.
"Cena hit me with that chair, I'm telling you right now, that was one of the most painful things I felt inside a wrestling ring. I thought, wait a minute? That that can't be right, that must have been a mistake. Then he did it again. Look, I was supposed to be in there for four or five shots. I took maybe one and a half and I was like, uh-uh, absolutely not. I rolled out of the ring. This is one of the only times I was I wasn't taking something."

Otunga went on to say that John Cena was furious and talking about receipts. He spoke to them in the ring, letting them know why they were being hit.
"I realized it's because Cena was doing this on purpose; he was trying to get his receipt. I had heard him mention something before about that and definitely after the fact, and he was letting it be known in the ring at the time! 'This is for all those times you did this. This is for all the times you did that', like he's muttering under his breath."
Otunga said that when he managed to get out of the ring, Cena was taking out Tarver instead. He said that he hit him repeatedly, and those shots were so stiff that he fractured Tarver's elbow, and he was left legitimately hurt.
"Boy, when I got away he was tearing Tarver up. He was tearing Tarver up. Tarver didn't get out as quickly as I did, I think Tarver thought he was tough and tried to take it, but one of those shots showed how stiff it was, and actually fractured Tarver's elbow. Like he legitimately was hurt."
John Cena is retiring from WWE
John Cena is set to retire in December at Saturday Night's Main Event. The star's career is coming to an end.
It remains to be seen who he faces as the last-ever star for his opponents. He will also face Dominik Mysterio soon at Survivor Series.
