Adam Pearce recorded a message and shared it online. He said he had seen Becky Lynch's video in which she said she would be boycotting WWE RAW until her demands were met, and he was going to call her but would be recording the call under "advice of legal counsel."

"Yes I am going to try and get a hold of her. I just saw her video, and I will record this as per the advice of legal counsel. But quite frankly I don't think she will answer."

The RAW star actually answered the call and told her he had seen the video. In the one-sided conversation that could be overheard, Pearce said that he had indeed enjoyed the video that she had filmed. He said that he had also read the demands that she had asked for. He tried to get to a point where he could ask her a question. However, instead of asking anything else, he asked if she had a history of mental illness in her family, after which the star hung up.

"Oh hello, Rebecca? Yes, that's why I'm calling, I saw the video. Yes I saw the video. Yeah I enjoyed it. The bit with the potatoes especially very cute. Yes I read the demands. I understand what it is that you are asking for. I think. Yes, and I want you to, Becky, I am recording this under the advice of my legal counsel, just so that you are aware. No I do not have a film crew. Yes, I saw you at makeup. So I have a question, just a simple one, you can answer this however you want, I don't want to lead you. Yes, in your family... yes I understand the demands okay. In your family, is there any history of, umm, mental illness?"
