WWE star Bianca Belair shares update on her injury status

Bianca Belair recently provided an update on her injury and why her recovery has taken longer than expected.

Speaking on BET's 106 & Sports, the former champion noted that Rhea Ripley landed on her hand during the title match at WWE WrestleMania. Bianca Belair stated that she thought the injury was a broken finger, but it turned out to be a broken knuckle.

"Yeah, so, I broke my knuckle, which is not my finger. I broke my knuckle. I broke the joint. It's something that I thought was going to be very straightforward, 8-12 weeks. It's been almost six months at this point. But it was WrestleMania [41], and I was in a Triple Threat match with Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY, and we were going to the top rope because that's what we do, and we came off the top rope, and Rhea landed straight on my hand, and it just crushed everything of my finger. So, it's been a crazy journey," Belair said.
