A former WWE star has announced that he is going to be retiring once and for all. During the live broadcast, he officially announced his impending retirement after TNA Genesis in January 2026. The time for his wrestling career has now come to an end.He said that after the show ended in January, so did his career. He said that he wanted to announce it at Full Sail University, where he spent such a large part of his career, and it meant the world to him. He said that he was grateful to WWE, TNA, and his fans.He ended by saying that this locker room was the best that he had ever been in."I have decided that after Genesis in January, I'm going to be retiring from in-ring action. I didn't want to just throw that at you guys out here. But I wanted to do it here in Orlando, in this arena in Full Sail, because this place means the freaking world to me. I'm so grateful for the last 27 years I've spent in this business. I'm grateful for you guys. I'm grateful for the WWE. I'm grateful for TNA. I've spent a lot of time being ungrateful in this business, but right now, I'm telling you that I am very grateful for my last couple of years here in TNA. This is the best locker room I've been in.
