Blake Monroe showed up in a video package tonight on a WWE show. She made a huge announcement about her future.

Blake Monroe has managed to establish herself as one of the top stars in NXT as soon as she arrived on the black and silver brand. She even picked up a notable win against Jordynne Grace. Hence, she moved on and was looking forward to winning singles gold. She challenged Sol Ruca for the Women's North American Championship at Halloween Havoc. However, Sol suffered an injury before the match, and Zaria defended the title on her behalf. Despite this last-minute change, Blake was able to win the Women's North American Championship.

Tonight on NXT, Blake appeared in a video package. The former AEW star said that she would defend her title for the first time when the black and silver brand visits New York City for NXT Gold Rush.

"So, I've decided I'm going to have my first defense in a place fitting for me, New York City. And when the lights hit me there, when the world thinks its ready to see the glamour in full, it'll be too late because nothing burns brighter and darker than Blake Monroe."

Blake Monroe broke her silence following her win at Halloween Havoc

Blake Monroe has been turning heads ever since her arrival in WWE. Her heel turn against Jordynne Grace shocked everybody. Heading into her match at Halloween Havoc, Blake was the favorite to defeat Zaria. As expected, she was able to walk away with the win and the title.

Following her win, the former AEW star took to social media to post a photo of herself celebrating her win. She captioned it as follows:

"Rich," she wrote.
