Big E was pleased that a 27-year-old WWE star used his finishing move, the big ending, on a major show. He acknowledged the star and predicted that many more World Championships would come in his career.

At NXT Deadline, the opening match saw the NXT Championship being put on the line, with Ricky Starks defending the title against the impeccable Oba Femi. It was a rematch from over two months ago, where Starks dethroned the 27-year-old star. However, this time, the stakes were considerably higher as the winner would go on to face WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Saturday Night's Main Event next week.

In a huge moment in the match, Oba Femi would hit The Big Ending, which is, of course, Big E's finishing move. Rather than being mad about it, the ex-WWE Champion acknowledged Oba Femi and praised him, stating that many more World Titles are coming in his career.

Brock Lesnar's retirement date leaked? Check the details!

Femi, the Nigerian-American star, has created a massive impact in NXT and now sits on top of the throne once again. He occupied that spot for most of 2025, and for two months between late September and early December, he was knocked off his perch by Ricky Saints. Of course, he would go on to reclaim his title at NXT Deadline, with Saints seemingly saying farewell to the brand after his handshake with Oba Femi.

Oba Femi is slated by many to become a future World Champion, and the hype for him is not too dissimilar from what Bron Breakker received a few years ago. The physique, the aura, and overall abilities of Oba Femi is what make him one of the most hyped up prospects in the WWE developmental system. It's unclear when he's going to make his move to the main roster, but when he does, there will be a massive impact.
