Becky Lynch may have lost her Women's Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri last week, but that doesn't mean everything is going downhill for her. The BIGGEST Superstar in WWE history (everyone's saying it, according to Lynch) landed a role for Star Trek, one of the greatest franchises in TV history. While she's busy trying to sue Adam Pearce and WWE, Lynch also shared a preview of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, giving us a look at her new hairdo and more. Lynch has developed quite a career outside of the ring. Back in 2024, she released her memoir, Becky Lynch: The Man: Not Your Average Girl, which became a New York Times Best Seller. She's appeared in several television shows, like Young Rock, where she portrayed the iconic Cyndi Lauper, and most recently appeared in Happy Gilmore 2. Now, Lynch is taking on one of the most well-known properties going today: Star Trek.Lynch took to X today to share an article from Collider, highlighting Lynch's love of the series and more. The Man was ecstatic to share the article, though she gave Collider a piece of her mind for not considering her THE biggest WWE star."Everyone’s FAVORITE wrestler turned actor will be starring in one of the most ICONIC franchises in TV history. Star Trek: Starfleet Academy premieres in January on Paramount+. You can get a sneak peek of just how AMAZING I look here. Small correction Collider, I’m not one of WWE’s biggest stars, I’M THE BIGGEST!"Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is set to debut on January 15, 2026, on Paramount+.Becky Lynch repeatedly threatens WWE managementWhile Becky Lynch's Hollywood career continues to prosper, her WWE career hit a snag on the November 17 edition of Monday Night RAW. Maxxine Dupri had recently earned a few victories over the GOAT by countout and DQ. On RAW last week, Dupri finally managed to wrangle the Women's Intercontinental Championship from Lynch, thanks in part to a distraction by AJ Lee. Lynch accused the entire promotion of collusion and has repeatedly demanded that WWE and RAW GM Adam Pearce throw out Dupri's victory and return the title to where it rightfully belongs. While it hasn't happened yet, Lynch will at least get a chance to get revenge this weekend. The multi-time champion will compete in the Women's WarGames Match opposite AJ Lee. Once that's done, Lynch will more than likely look to take back the Women's Intercontinental Title.
