Cena is just days away from retiring from pro wrestling. His retirement tour has been a huge letdown to say the least, and fans have been blasting WWE CCO Triple H for it for quite some time now.

Tonight, John Cena took on Dominik Mysterio for the latter's Intercontinental Title and ended up defeating the young gun to win the coveted belt. Cena is now a Grand Slam Champion after his title win on RAW. Shortly after Cena's victory, WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch took a picture with him backstage and shared it on her official X handle.

She wrote the following in her post:

John Cena's last match opening SNME - Check out Why!

"Intercontinental championships. It’s a GOAT thing. We are the greatest wrestlers of all time. It’s not us saying it. Everybody says it. Sports Illustrated says it. Bleacher Report says it. HHH says it."

John Cena has now done it all in the business

Cena's career kicked off way back in 2002 when he made his debut on the main roster and almost defeated WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle on an episode of SmackDown. He never looked back after that loss and went on to become The Greatest Of All Time, as WWE itself likes to say. Cena won Royal Rumbles, several world titles, the Money in The Bank briefcase, and much, much more over his long, illustrious career.

Cena's retirement match will take place at the upcoming WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, 2025.
