WWE Superstar Bayley has finally broken her silence on being pulled out of her WrestleMania 41 match. The Role Model got emotional while speaking about it.
The 36-year-old was slated to team up with Lyra Valkyria and challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship on The Grandest Stage of Them All. However, she was replaced by Becky Lynch after being attacked backstage. It was later revealed that it was The Man who took her out.
On the most recent edition of the Six Feet Under podcast, Michelle McCool asked Bayley about the unfortunate snub. The former Damage CTRL leader noted that she got to know about it only the day before the show. She noted that it was a bittersweet feeling, as she was very excited for Lyra Valkyria, whom she had grown closer to in real life.
"I feel like every time I get thrown stuff, it's like I'm just being tested, not by the company ['Nice save,' says The Undertaker], the universe and the world is trying to test me. It was rough; it was a little bittersweet. I became really close with Lyra [Valkyria] in real life. And so I was super excited for her to have her first WrestleMania… I felt genuinely connected with her, and she's one of the girls grew up loving wrestling and a huge fan, She's so good, and that had a lot to do with it," she said.

Bayley added that she was disappointed not only because she was missing out on a WrestleMania appearance but also because she had worked hard on building her tag team with Lyra Valkyria. The veteran noted that it was rough, but it becoming a part of a storyline made it somewhat nicer.
"Then, when I was told what was happening, I was like, 'Oh now I'm bummed. For one, I'm not on WrestleMania, but for two, we put all this work in, and I really try to make us look like a team so that people, it's believable when we get to WrestleMania.' So, it was rough, but it becoming part of a storyline, and it becoming what it is now, made it a little bit nicer, and maybe it. I don't even know how to say it without, like, I don't want to, you know, it was rough," she added.
