John Cena opened up about crying after reading a recently released memoir of a WWE legend. The former two-time Women’s Champion revealed this while talking about how touched she was that Cena read her book. Moreover, Natalya added that The Never Seen 17 finished her book in just one day.
Nattie appeared on WFAN for an interview, where she said she had gifted a copy of her memoir, The Last Hart Beating: From the Dungeon to WWE, to John Cena. She revealed that she had also added a personal note for the reigning Intercontinental Champion.
However, she didn’t expect Cena to reach out to her the very next day and tell her that he had already finished the book. She noted that The Franchise Player is one of the busiest people in the world, hence she was shocked that he immediately finished reading the memoir.
"At the end of the night, I gave him my book, I was like 'just wanted you to have this', and I wrote a little message for him inside of it, just about gratitude and what he means to me and the industry. The next day, he goes 'I was flipping through the book, I started reading it, because I couldn't put it down. That night. This is one of the busiest guys in the world… That night, he sends me a text, and he goes 'Nattie. I finished the book, wow, wow, wow, I was bawling my eyes out.' If you can make John Cena cry… I think he hadn't planned on reading it, that's the thing about the book is that it's meant to be, it's a big page turner, there's a lot of cliff-hangers, but it's a story." Dominik Mysterio fires shots at John Cena ahead of the 2025 Survivor Series
Dominik Mysterio has challenged John Cena for a title rematch for the Intercontinental Championship at the upcoming 2025 Survivor Series. In a recent interview with Forbes, The Latino Cheat said that he feels honored that he is getting three out of the last four matches in Cena’s farewell tour.
However, he also noted that this means The Franchise Player needs him more than he needs The Franchise Player.
“He’s never coming back after this. I’m getting three out of his last four. I got him in Boston, TD Garden. I got him in Madison Square Garden, and I’m gonna have to finish it off in Survivor Series at Petco Park. It’s a huge honor, and I’m happy to be part of that journey. Because at the end of the day, if nothing ever gets done by John Cena again – his last feud ever – and three out of his last four matches were against me. It’s a little clear that he needed me more than I needed him.”
John Cena became a WWE Grand Slam Champion after winning the IC Championship by defeating Dirty Dom. This was the only title Cena had not won throughout his dazzling career, during which he won 17 world titles in the company. It would be interesting to see if Mysterio will be able to take his belt back from Cena in San Diego.
