In 2015, while AJ was still under contract with WWE, she called out Stephanie and the company for the women receiving a fraction of the wages and screen time as the male stars in the company despite having record merchandise sales. Now, it looks like they are finally going to address these tweets.Stephanie McMahon took to social media to reveal that AJ will be part of her podcast this week. She posted a few clips from the episode where they hint about addressing the "elephant in the room." In fact, McMahon even says that Lee agreed to do the podcast on the condition that they address what they went through.CM Punk commented on what it is like to have AJ Lee back in WWEAJ Lee returned to WWE earlier this year to help her husband, CM Punk, during his feud against Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch. She teamed up with Punk to defeat Rollins and Lynch at Wrestlepalooza.
