There's been lots of speculation regarding the identity of the masked attacker at last weekend's WWE Survivor Series: WarGames 2025. Addressing the same, Adam Pearce confirmed on RAW that he was notified by the medical team that Seth Rollins was still not cleared and couldn't be the hooded figure during the WarGames Match.

A mystery figure came out during the Men's WarGames Match on Saturday night and unleashed a brutal attack on the current World Heavyweight Champion, CM Punk. This completely shifted the momentum in favor of The Vision, Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul, who quickly capitalized on it to seal the victory.

Since the mystery man used a Stomp during the angle, many assumed it could be Seth Rollins, as he's no stranger to faking injuries. RAW GM Adam Pearce, however, confirmed in a backstage segment this week that there was no chance the attacker could be the two-time WWE Champion, as he still wasn't medically cleared.

"I'm seeing reports of Seth Rollins walking around Survivor Series without a sling, but medical's telling me he's not cleared. There's no way he can climb, hit a picture-perfect stomp, and then get gotta here," said Adam Pearce. (0:09 - 0:18)

WWE analyst Sam Roberts thinks Sami Zayn could be behind the attack

On the latest edition of his NotSam Wrestling podcast, Roberts engaged in some fantasy booking and speculated that Sami Zayn could be behind the hoodie.

The RAW Recap host explained that even though Zayn was universally beloved, it was for WWE to have him explore a different facet of his character.

"Sami Zayn is a name that's been thrown around, and there are people going, 'I don't know about that Sami Zayn,' because, you know, I think people are waiting for a refresh on Sami Zayn. I think it's time for a refresh on Sami Zayn. But what if Sami Zayn wasn't so lovable? What if Sami Zayn wasn't so everyman? What if Sami Zayn wasn't that guy that just worked hard and, 'Gee golly, I'm gonna get it done?'" said Roberts.

The most believable theory that has been doing the rounds on the internet right now is that Austin Theory could be the attacker. He's long been rumored to join The Vision, and it looks like WWE might have finally pulled the trigger now.
