Adam Pearce accused of abusing his power ahead of RAW

A popular WWE Superstar accused Adam Pearce of abusing his power in a recent social media update. The star called out the 47-year-old after the latter made a recent announcement.

Earlier today, WWE posted a video of Adam Pearce announcing multiple matches and segments for the December 15 edition of Monday Night RAW. One of those matches will see Maxxine Dupri defending her WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against American Made's Ivy Nile. However, the previous champion, Becky Lynch, was not amused with the match announcement.

In her recent X (fka Twitter) post, The Man claimed to be the real champion and noted that Pearce had no authority to make the title match. Lynch added the RAW General Manager was abusing his power, and she and her lawyers would be watching the show closely.

"PATHETIC PEARCE making an Intercontinental Title match when he has NO AUTHORITY TO DO SO!!! I am the REAL CHAMP!!! What an INSANE ABUSE OF POWER! My lawyers and I will be watching closely," Lynch wrote.

Becky Lynch lost the Women's Intercontinental Championship to Maxxine Dupri on the November 17 edition of Monday Night RAW. However, she has yet to accept the loss and has constantly been blaming the official, Jessika Carr, for her defeat. The 38-year-old has also been accusing Adam Pearce of conspiring against her and threatening legal action.

Adam Pearce and Becky Lynch have recently been interacting over social media updates. Earlier this month, the Scrap Iron posted a picture of himself standing in front of The Man from an old episode of SmackDown Live.

In response, Becky Lynch shared the post on Instagram stories, claiming that Adam Pearce has disliked her from day one. She added that her lawyer could use the post as evidence against the RAW GM. Lynch further asked Pearce to resign from his role as the authority figure on the red brand.

"PETTY PEARCE HAS HAD IT OUT FOR ME SINCE DAY 1! Great job incriminating yourself and giving my lawyers even more evidence to use against you! Please RESIGN!!" Lynch wrote.

While Maxxine Dupri is all set to put the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship on the line against Ivy Nile, it will be intriguing to witness what plans the creative team has in store for Becky Lynch going forward.
